We are delighted to announce that our Annual BBQ will go ahead on Saturday, 21st August 2021, in the Radisson St Helen’s hotel and we sincerely hope you will come along and join us.

There has been a huge amount of work done at the hotel and we hope that you will enjoy spending the day with us again.

This will be our first national event since last year’s BBQ. To comply with government guidance, this event will be held outdoors in the marquees. We are working hard with the hotel to ensure that we run a safe and friendly event for our members. 

Due to restrictions, all members must pre-register online to attend. Bookings will close at 7:00 PM on Monday, 16th August 2021. All tickets must be purchased by then.

We will not have our usual sign-on desk and admittance will be refused if you arrive on the day and have not pre-registered. We would ask you please to adhere to this.
 

This year we have again planned a photo shoot for each member's car so you should arrive early. The gates will be opened at 11:00 for parking. We will have the car wash facilities available onsite which we had prior to 2020.

The photo shoot will be a gift for our members and we will email you the high-resolution photograph of your car afterwards

Besides the photoshoot, we will have the same People's Choice special concours this year and the attendees will pick the winners. 

We will have a charity collection point and would ask that members make a donation. We will forego a raffle this year. Our charity for this event will be announced in due course.

Timings (approximate and are subject to change on the day)

11:00 - Gates open for the early arrivals
14:00 - Official event kick off
18:00 - BBQ is served in the pavilion
19:30 - Concours Prize Giving
20:00 - onwards time to socialise and catch up with friends

Given the short time to the event we will offer the early bird price from last year right through the booking period which will close at 7:00 PM on Monday, 16th August 2021 :

Teens (12-18): €20 each
Children (under 12): Free
Non-members: €40 each

As always, our BBQ is free to our guests under 12.

Concours Competition
We will ask the members in attendance to pick their favourite three cars this year at the event and the top three will be the Concours winners this year.

This is detailed on the “Member’s Selection Form” which you will receive on arrival.

A photo of the car with the most votes will be printed on all 2022 membership cards!

Bookings are non-refundable and essential as numbers for the dinner may be restricted due to availability of space and food preparation.
