Our post Christmas drive attracted 12 cars eventhough the weather was foul, we had torrential rain, snow and ice but everybody braved the conditions. We started from Travel Lodge in Cork travelled to Midleton,Dungourney, Mount Uniac where we encountered snow and ice and on to Killeagh in East Cork and then to Agheda in Lower Harbour opposite Cobh. This is Kierans home village and we had a beautiful lunch in Rosies Pub/ Restaurant.

It was our new Presidents 1st official function and he presented Michael Cremin with a piece of Blarney Crystal to mark our visit to his museum a few weeks ago.We also wish to tank Vincent from Tipperary, Dermot from Waterford and Andy our other new committee member from Kilhenny for attending in such very poor weather.

It was a great end to 2013 and we look forward to a very exciting 2014.

We have a social nigh on 6th Jan at 9pm in Pa Johnsons Pub in John St Cork where Neil Allen will be playing with band.Hope to see you all there.

Seasons Greetings from Kieran, Mel and Denis
