Porsche 911 964 Carrera 2  Roadster is the light weight version of the cabriolet, with storage cage replacing back seats (seat delete option) but with back seat fittings the roadster was a pre curser of the 964 speedster. Weighing 270 kilos less than the Carrera 4 it was manufactured in March 1990, and Australian delivered and complienced in May 1990.

Over the last 3 years the car has been undergone many Porsche refurbishments, including a new Blackman electric soft top and tonneau cover, motor top end head tuning, valve adjustments ,new oil lines, brake reconditioning (Cairns Porsche),pads etc, new exhaust standard Porsche, and earlier new altenator and sensors (Loise Gousse). Being the first of the new generation featuring new suspension, twin plug ignition and air conditioning that actually works well, the car is well suited as a daily driver ,with cruise control, on board computer, upgraded  LED lights, a full tool kit , spare space saver wheel and Michelin tyres provide a reliable practical package. Tiptronic transmission with limitor ensures the engine is not over reved and in manual mode is an impressive drive. With original Guards Red paint and Black interior (leather electric seats)and all controls work, the car will gain value over the years.

Currently on club plates it is offered with Victorian Plates A9SIX4.
