Well now, here is your chance   …..

We are combining a Club Social Day with our next Club Sprints at Sandown Raceway (Ladbroke Park) on Sunday 28th November.

Situated at Sandown Raceway we have organised a Club Social Day which will include a Gourmet BBQ, drinks, and the opportunity to complete a few laps of the magnificent Sandown Race Circuit (speed limited behind a pace car) if you wish.  Otherwise come along for lunch and to spectate.  

We have planned our day around having fun, and joining fellow members who are competing in this our final Sprint Meeting of 2021.  NOTE:  This event will proceed on the basis Victoria reaches the 90% fully vaccinated target and restrictions ease, which looks imminent for next week.

What’s included:

  • New Porsche Vehicle Display provided by Porsche Centre Brighton, Porsche Centre Doncaster and Porsche Centre Melbourne.
  • Supervised Laps of the Sandown Race Circuit (no competition experience or motorsport licence required)
  • Escorted Pit Walks will be conducted during the day
  • Gourmet BBQ Lunch (provided by Fabulous Catering)
  • Unlimited Soft Drink Package (as no alcohol allowed during sprint meeting)
  • Marquee with tables and seating provided.
  • Music provided during the lunch break
  • Pizzas and Beer will be available from 5.00pm during Trophy Presentation at the end of the day……but stay as long as you wish.

Time:  10.00am to 5.00pm (Lunch will be available from 12.00 to 1.30pm) also Pizzas and Beer will be available from 5.00pm during Trophy Presentation ……but stay as long as you wish.

Location:  Sandown Raceway (Ladbroke Park) Located 30km from Melbourne,

Entry & Parking: Enter via the Sandown Raceway Entrance on the Princes Highway, then proceed to the parking area at the rear of the pits via Gate 5E. (Please Note – Entry only available to pre-registered attendees, who MUST be double vaccinated and show either a Digital Vaccination Certificate or Printed Immunisation Sheet at the gate to gain entry. 

Lunch:   Substantial BBQ style with Soft drinks, Orange Juice and Sparkling Mineral Water, (no alcohol allowed until after 5.00pm at End of day presentations),

End of Day Trophy Presentation:  Complimentary Pizzas and Beer will be provided around 5.00pm during trophy presentations.

Cost: (Members) Free Entry, and Food and Drinks are complimentary at both lunch and end of day.     (Guests)  $42.00 pp (contribution to be paid online at time of booking).

Covid Requirements

To run an event considering Covid-19 restrictions we need to make changes to our normal practices. These include:

Government requirements - Federal, State and Local Public Health Authority guidelines will be followed in the running of this event.

All attendees are required to register for the event.

Entry and Exit to the event will be via Pit entry Gate 5E.

Covid 19 Digital Certificate checking will be conducted at the Pit entry Gate 5E (entry will be refused for those not able to comply with this requirement..

Scrutiny arrangements will comply with Motorsport Australia Return to Race protocols.

All attendees, competitors, officials and volunteers must demonstrate social distancing requirements

Race Control/Tower Access will not be available except for nominated Officials.

Fully Vaccinated Requirement for PCV Events*

With the roll out across Victoria of proof of vaccination status as a condition of entry into venues or events, the Club has decided to make being fully vaccinated a condition of entry for all PCV events. This will apply to all attendees, including members, spectators, support crew and the like. The only

This will come into effect from 5 November, being the current target date for Victoria to hit 80% double vaccination status and is in line with when restaurants and cafés will again be open for indoor service.

Should the Government move this date, we will move ours accordingly.

On arrival at events, you will be asked to show evidence of your vaccination status. This can best be done by uploading your vaccination certificate to the Victoria Service App or having a hard copy of your certificate from your Medicare records.

Taking this action will facilitate the smooth running of events, save any embarrassment with vendors and service providers during the events, and adheres to Government requirements.

With any change in Government Directions, we will review this requirement.

* People are still considered fully vaccinated for COVID-19 if they have received two doses of one of the approved vaccines.
