The first event of 2012 will be the always popular Summer sprint at Phillip Island. This year’s event will again include a representation from the Porsche Club of South Australia.

Vehicles that ran in MM1 in 2011 may be eligible for the new GT Class, as notified in the 2012 Standing Competition Rules.

Who will be the first person to win GT Class – and therefore hold the track record for GT Class at Phillip Island?

Note also that the M1 and M2 class as raced assessment of the Weight to Power criteria now includes the driver’s weight, and the 2011 cut off numbers (5 and 6 kg/kw respectively) have been adjusted accordingly (5.25 and 6.36).

A 2012 registration form is required to submitted to be eligible for Competition Points. Click here for a blank form, or return the pre-filled form that was emailed on 28 November to 2011 registered vehicles. Click here for the 2012 Rules and a commentary on the major changes over the 2011 Rules. Forms will need to be returned in sufficient time for the Scrutineers to review the form prior to the close of entries.

Early forms are appreciated.
