Committee restructure and Position Vacant
It is with regret that Phil and Gail Hart have stepped down from their respective Management Committee positions of Treasurer and Secretary.

Between them, Gail and Phil during their 33 years of club membership have filled virtually every committee position.
We thank them for their hard work and contribution to the club, their passion and drive to see the club grow and blossom into a successful vibrant enthusiastic club is unquestionable.

As many of you will know, a few years ago Gail and Phil had to cut short their round Australia caravan trip due to health issues, but now they plan to spend a few months completing this adventure. Happy and safe travels from us all.

At the recent committee meeting Eckhard Schwarting accepted the Treasurer's portfolio and we already have an interested member for Executive Secretary.

We are still looking to fill the Membership Secretary position though, which we initially had an applicant for, but circumstances have changed for the club member and they are no longer able to take over.

If there is anyone who would be happy to take on the position of Membership Secretary please contact me via president@porsche-qld.org.au and I will get back to you with answers to questions and a quick rundown on the portfolio.

Sincerely
Lee Cooper
Feeling Social
Home Cooking - Social Event

Calling all members of Porsche Club Queensland Inc.
!! Looking for expressions of interest !!
As a “new social event” we would like to do an MKR style
Porsche Club Cook Off.

Ultimately we are looking for two couples from;
The sunshine coast area
Greater Brisbane area
The Gold Coast area.

Essentially these people will cook for a group on separate nights, judges declare a winner from each area and they will cook against one another to be the ultimate Porsche Club Master of Culinary Delights.

We envisage 10 people at each event to each pay $?? to cover costs, will limit spend so the menu does not get out of hand. A good way to meet people in your area and socialise, we believe these nights can end up a very social and fun night.

Please let us know if you love to cook and would be interested in being a part of the night. Reply to: president@porsche-qld.org.au with your name, contact details.

If there is enough interest we will set dates that will suit everyone, and enjoy something new.

Keep up with the latest action - We now have a new Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/PorscheClubQLD/

To comply with Porsche's Social Media policy, we have created a page which is dedicated to official Club Correspondence. A benefit of this is that will be able to keep all of the club items in one place and we can also start using features such as Facebook Events, etc.

We will be continuing to share all posts in the existing group, so there shouldn't be any disruption in terms of information reaching PCQ members.

See you online!
