Garrett Dee, organised this session through this friendship with Dr Keith Mc Mullen at Cork Institute of Technology Dept Of Automotive Engineering on the most advanced Dynamometer in Ireland. We were over subscribed and 10 cars were tested starting at 9.30am and finishing at 3.30pm on sat 24th April.It was a truly wonderfull experience for all the owners to see the engines being put through their paces on the rollers.I am sending an individual print out to all the participants but the following is a synopsos of the results.

All the cars performed well with no smoke at full power, indicating excellent engine condition. There were a few dissapointments but with a little tuning they will be back to full health. Club President Dave whelan presented Porsche Club Ireland Cork Crystal Glasses to Dr Keith to mark the occasion.
On 22nd May we are having another Technical Sesion at Des Golden's Independent Porsche Workshop, Sarsfields Road Cork at 11am. Des has the latest Porsche Diagnostic equipment and he will give a full demonstration and he will use 1 of our cars as a test mule. He will also put a car on the lift and explain the main features on what needs to be serviced and what to look out for in between services.There will also be a full question and answer session. I will give an update nearer the date on where we will meet on the morning.
We look forward to meeting as many of you as possible on the Kinsale International Rally next weekend 8th & 9th May. It will start with a public viewing of the 130 cars in Pierce St., Kinsale at 10.30 am and the cars will be lead away with a Pipe Band to start the Rally at 11.30am.
