 Bryant Park Hillclimb

For the last competition event of the year, we are trying a new approach to a Bryant Park Hillclimb event.

With entry numbers being down during the last few Bryant Park events, we have agreed to share our next event here with the WRX Club. Not only will this give us some economic numbers, but we can add some spice as we see how Japan’s most famous rally marque compares to Germany’s finest sports car in the tight confines of Haunted Hills. At the end of the day we are planning a run off against the best of both camps.

CATERING - Breakfast will be provided before the drivers briefing - egg and bacon muffins, tea and coffee.

Lunch will be to participant’s own account from the Bryant Park canteen on the decking.

Competition Class - A mix of long track, figure eight and short track events will be run. The WRX Club cars will be mixed in with PCV cars. Evidence of prior experience or satisfactory completion of a high performance driver-training course is a Club requirement for the timed competition classes.

Entrée Class - Are you interested in a challenging fun environment to enjoy your car? Have you wondered what a track day is like, how is it run, will I enjoy it? Entrants in the entrée class get separate sessions of un-timed practice. Instructors will be provided from experienced club members. No advanced driver training, fire extinguishers or dorians are required. All you need is a CAMS Level 2S Licence click here to get one on line, an approved helmet - the club can lend some, suitable clothing (see supp regs) and a roadworthy vehicle. This is the perfect introduction to track days for new members.
