GRAND TOUR TO NSW

Saturday 7th April to Saturday 14th April

Come and join us on this PCV Grand Tour of 8 days / 7 nights which centres on The Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Southern Highlands regions of New South Wales. 

We realise this tour is still a year away, but due to the logistics involved, it has been necessary to confirm accommodation and function bookings, plus corresponding deposits have been paid by your Club.

The tour can accommodate a maximum of 60 people so please book early to avoid disappointment.  Please note bookings will be on a first come basis via the club’s online booking system and can only be accepted when accompanied by payment of the $500 deposit.  As in previous years when the booking list is full we will establish a waiting list.

Day 1, Sat 7th April: Travel to Goulburn.  1 Night bed & breakfast at Mercure Hotel, dinner on arrival.

Day 2, Sun 8th April:  Goulburn to Leura via Jenolan Caves.  Guided tour at Jenolan Caves including light lunch at Caves House.  Accommodation 2 nights bed & breakfast at Fairmont Resort, Leura.  Dinner at Resort Golf Club

Day 3, Mon 9th April: Free day at leisure in the Blue Mountains. Explore the region’s many highlights – Katoomba, 3 Sisters, Wentworth Falls, Scenic World’s Skyway, Railway or Cableway, Blue Mountains Botanical Gardens or perhaps a game of golf at the resort, to name just a few.  Dinner at “The Garage” Leura.

Day 4, Tue 10th April: Leura to Terrigal via Gosford.  Visit Australia’s largest Motor Museum in Gosford (private opening for our group).  2 Nights bed & breakfast accommodation at Crowne Plaza, Terrigal.  Dinner at Crowne Plaza.

Day 5, Wed 11th April: At leisure on the Central Coast.  Explore this stunning region, visit The Entrance, Avoca Beach or perhaps take a ferry ride to Palm Beach. Dinner: free night.

Day 6, Thu 12th April: Terrigal to Bowral via the Royal National Park, Stanwell Tops & Kiama. 2 Nights bed & breakfast accommodation at Gibraltar Hotel, Bowral. Evening:  Travel back in time to the historic village of Berrima.  Old fashioned pub grub at “The Surveyor General Inn”, (Australia’s oldest continuously licensed inn). Plus visit the famous Berrima Court House to view “Treachery, Treason & Murder” audio & light show.

Day 7, Fri 13th April: At leisure in the Southern Highlands.  Visit the many tourist delights, including Fitzroy Falls, Don Bradman Museum, Robinson or Mittagong townships, the award winning Centennial Winery or perhaps a game of golf at the Gibraltar Hotel course.  Final night Gala Dinner in the Observatory Room at Gibraltar Hotel.

Day 8, Sat 14th April: Bowral to Melbourne

COST:  $2,799 per couple.

Single travellers are welcome but will need to share accommodation with another single, alternatively the full couple price will be payable.

INCLUSIONS:  

7 nights B & B Accommodation and 6 Dinners. Drinks are to own account except at the all-inclusive final night gala dinner.

PAYMENT:  $500 deposit at time of booking.  Balance due 19th January 2018.

CANCELLATION - A cancellation fee of $100 per person may be charged if cancelling after initial deposit paid (unless your booking can be replaced from the waiting list). Once final payment is requested, there will be no refund of deposit paid and additional fees may be imposed by any tour supplier which could, in some cases, be up to 100%.
