Saturday

Meet at the Feathers Hotel at 9:30am for a departure from Adelaide at 10:00am.

We will go via the Adelaide Hills with a coffee/comfort stop at Birdwood.

Then travel via the Barossa with a stop at Kapunda for a light lunch.

After lunch we will travel via Marrabel, Saddleworth and Auburn with a stop at O’leary Walker Wines.

We will then travel towards Clare with a stop at Tim Adams Wines for a tasting with the man himself, Tim Adams.

Then to the Clare Country Club to book into your accommodation.

Join us for in for a drink at the bar before dinner.

Dinner at 7:00pm – a 3-course dinner in the restaurant (sample menu attached)

After dinner, drinks can be had in the bar, by the fire and maybe you can play some 8 ball on the table nearby.


Sunday

A little sleep-in.

Cooked buffet breakfast (between 7:00am until 9:30am).

Checkout by 10:00am and assemble for a short run to the village of Burra for a coffee and some shopping in the many gift and other shops that are open on a Sunday.

Then returning to Clare via Spalding.

Lunch at 1:00pm at Mr. Mick’s - tapas style including dessert (see menu attached);


After lunch you can, either do your own thing in the Clare Valley or head home etc.

COST:  $375 per couple or $285 per single

INCLUSIONS:  

One night’s accommodation at the Clare Country Club for 1 or 2 people

3-course dinner – see sample menu attached

Cooked buffet breakfast

Sunday Lunch – Mr. Mick’s – Tapas including dessert – see menu attached
