Clubhouse

The clubhouse at Killarney is situated on the main straight just after the start line and is open to Porsche Club Members and their families. Guests are welcome at a nominal charge per person. The clubhouse is open on all national and regional race days with food on sale on nationals and a braai fire available on regionals. There is a fully stocked bar at club prices and many a good afternoon has been spent watching racing, rugby on the TV and talking cars. Parking is available for your Porsche inside a cordoned-off area.

Track Days, Autocrosses and Driver Training

A number of track, autocrosses and driver training days are held throughout the year where members can put their cars on the track or around some cones at their own pace under no pressure whatsoever. These have proved most popular.

Social Runs

The first or second Sunday of every month is when we hold our social runs. These comprise a scenic drive through to a venue where members enjoy a lunch or brunch with good company and good conversation.

Annual Concours (Show and Shine)

The highly competitive Annual Concours is held in February/March. An array of beautiful, gleaming Porsche are displayed at a central venue for all to view whilst the judges toil in the blazing sun, to judge the best cars in each class. A few weeks later, our Awards Dinner Dance is held where awards are handed out to worthy winners for both the Concours and track events with a few special mention awards too.

Magazine

The club publishes a glossy magazine. Members are welcome to advertise their businesses in this magazine at very competitive rates.

National Porsche Parade

This event is held in a different region every second year, usually over the long weekend in September, and members from all over the country gather for five days of racing, socializing and good Porsche fellowship.

We look forward to meeting you at the Porsche Club SA – Cape.
