Porsche Club Ireland

Welcome

Welcome from our President

Welcome to Porsche Club Ireland , an official Porsche Club recognised by Porsche AG. We are an active group of Porsche Owners and Enthusiasts who's passion for Porsche is strong.

Ireland is an island on the fringes of western Europe, blessed by good roads and a deep history and love for the motor car, motorsport and all things motoring. Once outside the main cities one is presented with some of the best driving roads in the world as well as being the most scenic.

While developing the latest Porsche Panamera it was to the roads of western Ireland that the factory turned to hone the suspension and dynamics. On behalf of the Committee and the Members I wish to extend a chead mile failte ( one hundred thousand welcomes ) to all our Porsche Friends both at home and worldwide.

Ireland is a country of some 5 million people, over 1 million of which live in the greater Dublin area. Travel south and you have the real capital, Cork which has more roads than any other county, go further south west and enjoy the stunning Ring of Kerry.

Porsche Club Ireland offers much for members and associates. Our prime event is held in August every year with a gathering of all members and their Porsches at the Radisson Hotel , St. Helen's in Dublin. We have three track days at Mondello Park, the only permanent race circuit in Ireland and we have regular drives and breakfast meets.

We also organise weekends and overnight events in places as far flung as Ennistymon in County Clare to Carlingford in County Louth. This year we had a most successful visit to the factory in Stuttgart which included a visit to the Nurburgring.

Some of our members race their Porsches, in the Irish Porsche Open Series and also in the UK in the GT Cup, the Carerra Cup GB and the Porsche Club GB Open. others continue the Irish tradition of rallying , how could they not, having such great special stages on our doorsteps. We have a close relationship with the sole importer of Porsche Cars in Ireland, Porsche Centre Dublin and also with our close neighbours in Porsche Club GB region 27 , Northern Ireland.

If you are a Porsche Owner,or thinking of becoming an owner, living in Ireland , we would be glad to have you join us. Drop along to any of our events, see events page, and say hello. If you are a visitor or just interested in things Porsche , feel free to contact us . We have a strong network of experts and knowledge which just might save you a lot of money.

Our recent AGM saw an enthusiastic and eager group of members elected to our committee. Our aim is to encourage the safe use and enjoyment of Porsche cars and to foster a spirit of enjoyment.

Ar aghaidh leat agus go n'eiri an bothair !
